New or Renewed 1-Year HMGS Membership ($ 20)

The current membership regulation #7, governing the term of an HMGS membership, approved by the Board on 10/27/02 and amended on 8/21/04, reads:

The annual membership term runs from 1 January until 31 December. Newcomers joining HMGS will, if the aforementioned membership term does not afford them the opportunity of three conventions' member discounts, have their term of membership extended by one year to December of the next following year.

This means that HMGS operates under a calendar-based membership year with memberships running from January 1 through December 31 each year subject to the following:

If you have never been an HMGS East member you are guaranteed the opportunity for at least three membership convention registration discounts so if you join after Cold Wars of a given year your membership will expire at the end of the following calendar year.
If you are a lapsed HMGS East member and renew your membership, it will expire at the end of the current calendar year.

Also note that as of 14 November 2004 the HMGS East Board of Directors voted to raise the price of yearly membership to $ 20 US in order to meet the necessities of rising convention costs. The five-year membership option was also discontinued by the Board. Click here for more information.

Please be sure to include a “Ship To” address in your PayPal transaction – this lets us know whether our address information for you is current.

HMGS respects your privacy! If you do not want your name and address, and/or your e-mail address shared with other HMGS members, in the “Message to Seller” box that will appear on the final PayPal confirmation page, please include the following, as applicable:

“Do not share my name and address” if you don’t want HMGS East to share your name and address with other HMGS East members . . . and /or “Do not share my e-mail address” if you don’t want HMGS East to share your e-mail address with other HMGS East members.

If you don’t include both phrases in the PayPal “Message to Seller” box, HMGS East will share your name and address and/or your e-mail address, but only with other HMGS East members.
