Through the Lens 6: WW2 Vehicles

.

.

by Jon Feenstra.

Hardback (horizontal 11.9×8.5 inches). 123 pages. 2025.

This is another fine volume in the Through the Lens series, which presents over-sized photos at one per page. Volume 6 offers photos in six groupings, with each group containing 20 photos: Kubelwagen, Tiger II, 88mm gun, S.I.G. 150mm self-propelled gun, Hummel self-propelled gun, and the French tank Somua 35 in German service

My particular favorite is the S.I.G. and halftrack convoy. Runner up: a Tiger I stranded in a snowy ditch with the rest of the platoon following on the farm track and a couple more in the background seeming to be on overwatch.

TTL 6 does an excellent job of presenting WWII black and white photos. These 120 black and white photos offers exquisite views for modelers and wargamers.

Enjoyed it.
