Convention Registration for Historicon 2026 will open for all attendees on Friday, May 15th at 12:00 PM EDT. Game Host, Volunteer and Vendor badges are already being entered by staff and those individuals should receive notification soon (and definitely before Event Tickets & Merch are available on May 26th).
We will also have links to pre-purchase Convention T-shirts from TR Historicals (to go along with the Convention Theme: “American War of Independence” we are offering 2 unique shirts; one for the Colonies and one for the British – which side will you be on?). In addition, we are offering other merchandise for pre-purchase along with a unique online Raffle to benefit the Historicon featured charity, The Wounded Warrior Project. Last year we raised over $1000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. This year the raffle will feature the following prizes:
- Grand Prize: HMGS will provide a full Room (2 queen-sized beds) at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square for the entire Historicon 2026 Convention (from Wednesday 15 July to Sunday 19 July 2026)! That’s right we found a room for HCON!
- Second Prize: HMGS will pay for 1/2 of your already reserved Convention Room at the Lancaster Marriott for the entire Historicon 2026 Convention (from Wednesday 15 July to Sunday 19 July 2026). The room must already be reserved at the Attendee/Vendor Rate of $158 + taxes/night. No other hotel or room rate will be reimbursed.
- Third through fifth Prizes: HMGS will provide a Wally’s Basement “Golden Ticket” to allow the winners 15 minute Early Admission to all of the Wally’s Basement Sessions at Historicon 2026!
Raffle Winners will be notified by email on July 1st, 2026. Each entry is $10, and the more you enter the better your chance to win. All Proceeds from this Raffle will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
We are also offering the opportunity to purchase the Fall-In! 2025 US Navy & USMC 250th Birthday Figures, to complete the Historicon 2025 Diorama, for a $5 charitable donation to the Wounded Warrior Project. The figures feature John Paul Jones, sword in hand, ready for boarding and a Continental Marine Sharpshooter taking aim at a British ship. Each figure can be based separately or included in the Historicon 2025 diorama base that was given out last year (sorry, there are no more of the Historicon base and figure sets left). If you need to complete your Historicon/Fall In! 2025 celebration of the 250th Birthday’s of the Army, Navy and Marine Corps, or you just need a few more unique Colonial Naval figures, you can order the Fall In! set of 2 figures for just a $5 donation to the Wounded Warrior Project and pick them up at the Registration Desk at Historicon 2026. Only 200 figure sets are left.
We are bringing back a slightly different version of the Historicon Mystery Swag Bag with a new name: the HMGS Quartermaster Coupon, now without the bag but the same great offers from our many Vendors with a new twist. The idea is that when you visit each participating Exhibitor and show your Quartermaster Coupon you not only get the featured giveaway or discount to purchase hobby related items but you also get a stamp/initials/punch on your coupon from the Exhibitor. We then ask that each participant turn in their stamped coupon to the Registration Desk by 1PM on Saturday at the Convention with their name and contact information. Based on those who have the most Exhibitor stamps/initials/punches, you will be entered for a drawing for additional prizes provided by the Exhibitors to be awarded in the Exhibit Hall on Saturday at 2PM, during the Free Beer and Soda event. There will be only 100 Quartermaster Coupons offered for $25 each. Proceeds from the Quartermaster Coupon are used to pay for the Free Beer and Soda. Support our Exhibitors and get some great stuff and discounts!
We encourage everyone to be sure you have created your Tabletop Events account and bought your Badge before Event sign-up opens on May 26th (at 12:00 PM EDT) to make it easier to get the events, Hobby University and War College Classes, Tournaments that you want. The online Events Schedule is being constantly updated as events are scheduled and should be complete with all the events submitted by the deadline no later than 18 May so you can start your Convention planning before “Ticket Sales” opens on May 26th.
How to Register for the Convention
HMGS has created an “Attendee Registration Instructions” overview: https://hmgs.org/conventions/tte-attendee-registration-instructions/.
If you are a non-Member, you can click on the “Get/View Your Badge” option on the Attend dropdown menu for Historicon 2026 on TableTop.Events.
If you are a Member, you will need to login to the HMGS Member Portal to verify your current Membership status; and then use the “HC26 Member Badges” menu option to display the “Member Pricing Verification” page, which will contain links for the different Member Badges on TableTop.Events.
Youth and Non-Playing Partner Badges can be added after you have purchased your Badge. Links to buy these Badges will be in the Badge Verification email you will receive from TableTop.Events after buying your Badge.1
For Complimentary Badges for Exhibitors, qualified Game Hosts, Volunteers, War College speakers, and Hobby University instructors you should receive a Badge Verification email, once the Badge is created. Some Badges are still in the process of being entered, so you may or may not have received your confirmation email yet, but they should be ready by no later than May 22nd, i.e., before Event Registration opens on May 26th. If you believe you’re entitled to a Complimentary Badge and did not get a confirmation by May 22nd, please contact the appropriate Senior Staff member for your area (e.g., Events Manager for Game Host badges; Volunteer Coordinator for Volunteers; Exhibit Hall Manager for Exhibitors, etc.).
What we have on-tap for you
Our staff has been hard at work entering and scheduling over 800 (and counting) events, classes and lectures, and we already have over 60 Exhibitors registered for our convention. The Historicon Staff is verifying the final game placement, and we are testing and updating the Historicon site to make sure everything is ready when registration opens on Friday afternoon.
Sincerely,
Scott Landis and the Historicon Staff
