HISTORICON DATE CHANGE!!
Historicon 2027 is changing dates to Wednesday July 21 through Sunday July 25, 2027.
At the request of the Hotel/Convention Center, we are changing from our original published dates (July 14 – 18).
HMGS was offered a significant financial incentive to make this change.
Both the Convention Director and the Board of Directors agreed to the change.
Again, the new dates for Historicon 2027 are Wednesday 21 July through Sunday 25 July 2027.

THEME ANNOUNCED!!
Scott Landis, the Historicon 2027 Convention Director, announces that the theme for Historicon 2027 is:
SMALL BATTLES with BIG IMPACTS!
In military history it’s not always the grandiose or epic battle that wins the war and changes history;
sometimes a small, overlooked battle can stop invading empires, decapitate leadership, or remove prominent figures and/or capabilities.
We’re looking for those minor, unnoticed actions or minor historical skirmishes that caused massive changes.
It could be a minor skirmish that acted as a turning point in history or a tiny spark that lights a larger fire or puts a fire out.
